Picture Framing

We specialise in custom picture framing of art works, and we are proud to serve the many professional artists, amateurs, galleries and art collectors in the Southern Highlands.   

Our focus is making high-quality picture frames, including the use of conservation grade materials and custom finishes. We also clean and repair old or broken picture frames. We stretch and re-stretch painted canvases. We can give advice on basic art conservation, and, for tricky problems, we can recommend specialist conservators, art installers and couriers.

Art Materials

We aim to provide a complete service for the artists of the highlands. We stock a range of painting, drawing and printmaking essentials. Our brands include Arches, Canson, Fabriano and Lana papers; stretched canvases from CreateArt, paints by Art Spectrum, Winsor & Newton, Schminke, Matisse and Atelier; drawing materials by Derwent and Cretacolour; and pastels by Schminke and Rembrandt.

HOME PICK-UP AND DELIVERY

Black Parrot is now offering a home collection, delivery and hanging service.

We are very aware that many of our customers are time-poor, don't drive, or find moving framed work difficult. With this in mind, we are now offering to come to you. We can quote for framing in situ, collect your work, deliver your completed art work, and even hang it for you.  

Of course the costs and complexities of pick-up and delivery are dependent on location and the size of each work. Generally we charge $30 for pick up and delivery in the local area, but for large or fragile work, or if you live outside of Mittagong, Berrima, Burradoo, Bowral or Welby, please email or call for a quote.
