We are excited to announce that Black parrot has moved its centre of operations to the heart of the Southern Tablelands. We are now accepting work in Gundaroo, Sutton, Bellmount Forest and surrounding towns. Please give Anthony a call to make an appointment if you are interested in a mobile consultation.
We will continue to accept work from clients in the Southern Highlands, so please get in touch by phone or email to make an appointment
We specialise in custom picture framing of art works with an eye to understated design, natural custom finishes, quality materials and conservation informed techniques. Not every artwork requires museum quality materials but these are always an option and minimising damage or alteration to artworks remains a priority.
We also clean and repair old or broken picture frames. We stretch and re-stretch painted canvases. We can give advice on basic art conservation, and, for tricky problems, we can recommend specialist conservators, art installers and couriers.
Anthony has practiced as an artist for many decades. His work as well as updates on exhibitions will be available through this website. If you are interested in purchasing, commissioning or just getting in touch, please call on 0425 363 471
Black Parrot is now offering a hanging service.
We are very aware that many of our customers are time-poor and find hanging framed work difficult. With this in mind, we are now offering to hang work in the local area and we generally charge $90 per hour for picture hanging.
If you live in Sutton, Gundaroo, Bellmount Forest or surrounds please get in touch.
