"Carnotaurus is a particularly mean looking predator. This is a man versus beast painting, a struggle. Although a severed head is a gruesome subject,  I have given no doubt to the viewer that it is a painting. The world we live in will always have it's dangers and obstacles. Through life’s journey we will need to face and defeat them from time to time. One is defeated here."
